Personal data protection policy
How Williams Agroservicios processes personal data, under Argentina's Law 25.326 and with standards equivalent to the EU GDPR for visitors from other countries.
Williams Agroservicios·Experience, by your side.
1. Data controller
Williams Entregas S.A., with offices in San Lorenzo, Arroyo Seco, Lima, Bahía Blanca and the City of Buenos Aires (Argentina), is the controller of personal data collected through this site.
Privacy contact: administracion@williamsentregas.com.ar.
2. Legal framework and international scope
Processing is governed by Argentina's Personal Data Protection Law 25.326, Decree 1558/2001 and the resolutions of the Agency for Access to Public Information (AAIP).
Where the visitor is located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or another jurisdiction with its own regime, we also apply the principles and rights of the GDPR (EU 2016/679) and equivalent rules: lawfulness, data minimisation, purpose and storage limitation, accuracy, transparency and security.
Argentina holds an adequacy decision from the European Commission, which allows transfers from the EU without additional safeguards.
3. Data we process
Depending on how you interact with the site, we may process:
- Contact details you provide voluntarily: name, email, phone, company and the content of your enquiry.
- Email address and subscription status for the Pulso Puerto weekly summary.
- Technical browsing data: IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, date and time of access.
- Usage preferences: selected language and settings stored in your browser.
4. Purposes and legal basis
Responding to commercial and operational enquiries (pre-contractual or contractual relationship).
Sending the weekly summary and Pulso Puerto editorial communications only if you subscribed (consent, withdrawable at any time).
Maintaining site security, availability and improvement, and preventing abuse (legitimate interest).
Complying with legal, accounting and document traceability obligations (legal obligation).
5. Cookies and similar technologies
We use local storage and technical cookies needed for the site to work: language, preferences and offline behaviour of Pulso Puerto when you install the app.
We do not use advertising cookies and we do not sell data. You can block or clear local storage in your browser; some features may stop working.
6. Recipients and international transfers
Data may be processed by providers of hosting, email, newsletter delivery and usage analytics, always on our instructions and under confidentiality obligations.
Some providers may be located outside Argentina. In that case we require appropriate safeguards: adequacy decisions, standard contractual clauses or equivalent instruments recognised by the AAIP and by EU law.
We do not share personal data with third parties for their own commercial purposes.
7. Retention
We keep data for as long as needed for the stated purposes and thereafter for applicable statutory limitation periods. Subscription data is kept until you unsubscribe.
8. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect data against loss, unauthorised access or misuse: encryption in transit, access control and regular backups.
9. Your rights
You may exercise the rights of access, rectification, updating and deletion and, where applicable, objection, restriction of processing and portability, and withdraw your consent.
To do so, write to administracion@williamsentregas.com.ar describing your request. We reply within the legal deadlines: 10 calendar days for access and 5 business days for rectification or deletion under Law 25.326, and 30 days where the GDPR applies.
Data subjects may exercise the right of access free of charge at intervals of no less than six months, unless a legitimate interest is demonstrated (section 14.3, Law 25.326).
10. Supervisory authorities
The Agency for Access to Public Information, Argentina's data protection authority, handles complaints regarding breaches of personal data protection rules.
Residents of the European Union or the United Kingdom may also lodge a complaint with their national supervisory authority.
11. Minors
The site is aimed at adults acting in a professional capacity. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect legal or operational changes. The version in force is always published on this page, with its update date.
