Every delivery to a port, mill or plant involves key variables of weight, moisture and quality. Williams is present at every destination with its own laboratories and technical team to verify each parameter, ensuring transparency and backing every result with accurate data.

Williams operations desk
When your truck is held up, we respond within minutes.
“During harvest the desk stretches as far as it needs to. It is our most demanding period and the moment clients need us most.”
There is no ticket-based call centre. There are Williams people on the ground in every port area, connected to the central desk through direct channels. During the main harvest, coverage stretches from early morning to night whenever the operation demands it.
A discrepancy spotted and challenged in time is money that stays with the grower. A delayed authorisation is a truck standing still, costing money by the hour. Speed changes the economics of the operation.

At our offices, before the port
This is what a check looks like before entering the port.
The truck first stops at our offices: probing, sample to the lab and weight control. Only with that data in hand is the decision made to continue to the terminal.
Pre-probing · San Lorenzo
Knowing the condition of the grain before it reaches the terminal.

In San Lorenzo you can have the truck probed before it enters the port, at our own office. Ask us about other areas.
We analyse the sample and report moisture, quality, general condition and the presence of insects. You can also check the weight with our own facilities.
With that data the decision is made: continue to the terminal, condition the grain, or consider another destination. It avoids rejections, detours, unnecessary kilometres and waiting hours you never get back.
“Better to find out before entering than once the problem has already cost money.”
Core differentiator
In-house laboratories in all four of our offices.
Moisture meter, sieve, sample divider, protein measurement. When a terminal returns a questionable result, we take the sample, analyse it in our own lab and come back with data. If the discrepancy is real, we argue it with the terminal or take it to the Arbitration Chamber with technical backing.

Operating process
How we handle your grain at port.
Every step is designed to protect your cargo and give you the information you need to decide.
Truck arrival
We receive the truck at any of the four port hubs. We assist the driver, guide them through the port and register the arrival in our system.
Quality control
We attend the probing at the terminal. If the result is questionable, we take a sample and run a parallel analysis in our own lab.
Weight control
We compare the declared net weight with the port scale. Any discrepancy is reported to the client immediately, with origin and plate details.
Defence against discrepancies
If the difference favours the client, unloading is authorised. If not, we raise the claim with the terminal backed by our own data — and escalate it to the Arbitration Chamber when needed.
Real-time information
Daily WhatsApp report detailing unloadings. Messages include waybill number, plate, kilos and averages.
Control dashboard
Every Monday at 9 AM clients receive a statistical review of the week: quality, weight, destinations and averages.
